PREFACE

This Standard was prepared by the Standards Australia Committee ME-087, Machine Condition

Monitoring.

The objective of this Standard is to specify the requirements for qualification and assessment of

personnel who perform machinery condition monitoring and diagnostics using acoustic emission.

This Standard is identical with, and has been reproduced from, I.S.O. 18436-6:2014, Condition
